Yes, fellow Democrats, I got a letter from Vice-President Dick Cheney. In my continuing quest to obtain the autographs of influential world leaders and politicians, I sent an e-mail to the Office of the Vice-President about three weeks ago. Dick Cheney’s political highlights include: White House Chief of Staff for President Ford, US Congressman from Wyoming for 10 years, US Secretary of Defense for 4 years, and has now served as the 46th Vice-President of the United States for the past 8 years. For five years, before being nominated as VP, Dick Cheney was the CEO of HAlliburton, a large Fortune 500 Company and one of the world leaders in Energy. Today I got a nice letter from him in an official “Office of the Vice-President of the United States of America” envelope which I am sure threw the mail-lady for a loop, like I said, life around these parts is usually pretty boring.
