Charles Grodin (Born 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA) is an actor, comedian, author, Producer, and former talk-show host. His films include MIDNIGHT RUN, HEAVEN CAN WAIT, SEEMS LIKE OLD TIMES, KING KONG, BEETHOVEN, IT’S MY TURN, THE LONELY GUY, CATCH-22, THE WOMAN IN RED, ISHTAR, DAVE, CLIFFORD, THE HEARTBREAK KID, DAVE, THE GREAT MUPPET CAPER, and others. In his extensive career, he has won an Emmy Award and also been nominated for a Golden Globe Award. His comment on the photo is in reference to my letter to him in which I offered to trade him an authentic autograph of MYSELF for an autograph of his. To be fair in case he did send me a autograph, I enclosed an autographed index card that I made out to him and signed. He is probably using it for a coaster now. If I could recommend one performance that stands out, I would tell you to watch “Heaven can Wait” where he co-starred with Warren Beatty and Dyan Cannon. He is hilarious!
