
Academy-Award winning actor Richard Dreyfuss (born 1947 in Brooklyn, NY) has appeared in dozens of movies including “Jaws”, “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”, “American Graffiti”, “Stakeout”, “W”, “Moon over Parador”, “Mr Hollands Opus”, “Dillinger”, “The Goodbye Girl”, “Tin Men”, “Always”, “Poseiden”, “The American President”, “Another Stakeout”, “Down and Out in Beverly Hills”, “What about Bob?”, “Postcards from the Edge”, “Nuts”, “Stand by Me”, “The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz”, and many other great films. He won an Academy Award for Best Actor for “The Goodbye Girl” in 1977. He has also been nominated for 4 Golden Globe Awards with one win, also for “The Goodbye Girl”. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk-of-Fame.
