
Brian Kelly is one of the most successful coaches in College Football today. As the head coach at The University of Cincinnati, he took a football program that had been a perennial doormat and in his 3 seasons coached the Bearcats to a record of 34-6, including Big East Conference titles in 2008 and 2009 and an appearance in the 2008 Orange Bowl. He started his coaching career at Grand Valley State (2 Division-2 National Titles), went on to Central Michigan University, before becoming the Bearcats head coach. In his first season with Cincinnati in 2007, he led the team to a 10-win season for the first time since 1949. In 2008, Cincy went 11-3 and finished #12 in the nation in the final AP poll. In 2009, Coach Kelly led the Bearcats to an undefeated 12-0 record, a #3 BCS ranking, and a spot in the Sugar Bowl against the powerhouse Florida Gators. On Dec. 10th, 2009 it was announced that Kelly would be leaving Cincinnati to take the Head Coach’s position at the University of Notre Dame.
