
Robert Redford (Born 1936 in Santa Monica, CA) is an Academy-Award winning Actor, Producer, and Director. He won the Best Director Oscar in 1980 for the film “Ordinary People” and was honored for an Honorary Oscar for career achievement in 2002. He also has 3 career Golden Globe Award wins along with numerous other Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Emmy Award nominations. He has starred in many of the best films in Hollywood of the past 40 years including “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”, “The Sting”, “The Way We Were”, “The Candidate”, Downhill Racer”, “Jeremiah Johnson”, “Three Days of the Condor”, “All the President’s Men”, “The Natural”, “Out of Africa”, “Indecent Proposal”, “Spy Game”, “The Horse Whisperer”, and countless others. He is truly one of the greatest stars in Hollywood history. He is also a devout environmentalist and supporter of independent filmmaking and was instrumental in forming the highly successful Sundance Film Festival and the cable television network, The Sundance Channel.

Thanks for posting these! I like the sepia photo from “Butch Cassidy + The Sundance Kid”, but I’m sure my mom will love to see the younger, blond Redford–her fave star beside Gregory Peck and Gary Cooper.
