Kim Basinger (Born 1953 in Athens, GA) is an Academy Award winning actress and former fashion model. She won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 1997 for her role in the film “L.A. CONFIDENTIAL”. For that same role, she also won a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She has enjoyed a very successful film career starting in 1981 with roles in such films as “The Natural”, “9 1/2 Weeks”, “No Mercy”, “Blind Date”, “My Stepmother is an Alien”, “Batman”, “Final Analysis”, “Wayne’s World 2″, “The Getaway”, “I Dreamed of Africa”, “8 Mile”, “The Man who loved Women”, “Never say Never again”, and countless others.
Great photos! My favorite Basinger character is that of “Memo”, the mythological hero’s nemesis in “The Natural”. Nobody has ever made the color white seem as evil…or dangerous!
