English Actress Jacqueline Bisset (Born 1944 in Weybridge, England) has been an International Film star since the late 1960′s. Her films include “Airport”, “Bullitt”, “The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean”, “The Deep”, “Class”, “Murder on the Orient Express”, “The Greek Tycoon”, “Wild Orchid”, “Rich and Famous”, “Day for Night”, and many others. She has been nominated for 4 Golden Globe Awards and one Emmy Award. She is the subject of an episode of the popular show “Cheers” in which bar owner Sam Malone will lose his bar in a bet if he does not marry Jacqueline Bisset by a certain date. She has also starred in a number of made-for-television movies and has guest-starred on a number of series. Her famous scenes in the 1977 movie “The Deep” in which she is scuba diving in a white t-shirt is credited with starting the “wet t-shirt contest” craze that is still going strong today. After the premiere of the film, Newsweek Magazine proclaimed her “The Most Beautiful Woman in the World”. This photo that she signed is actually one that I printed out here at home and mailed to her with my letter.

Jacqueline’s always been one of my fave ‘eye-candy’ actresses (but who can really act!), in the tradition of sexy Brits like Vanessa Redgrave, Julie Christie and esp., Elizabeth Hurley.
Guilty pleasure role: Rob Lowe’s neurotic, cradle-robbing mom in “Class”. Latest weird role: “James”, the transsexual organ harvester on TV’s psycho-drama “Nip/Tuck”. *Shudder!*
