Archbishop Desmond Tutu is a South African cleric and activist who rose to fame in the 1980′s as an outspoken opponent of Apartheid. He was only the 2nd South African to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Today, he is active in crusades to combat poverty, AIDS, and racism across the globe.
