Larry Hagman (Born 1931 in Fort Worth, TX) is an American Film and Television actor, producer, and director. He is best known for his roles on the 1960′s sitcom “I Dream of Jeannie” and the long running prime time drama “Dallas” in which he portrayed villain J.R. Ewing. His role on “Dallas” earned him multiple Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominations. He also appeared on shows such as “The Streets of San Francisco”, “Medical Center”, “MacMillan and Wife”, “McCloud”, “Police Woman”, “Knots Landing”, and most recently, “Nip/Tuck”. His film roles include “The Eagle has Landed”, “S.O.B.”, “Superman”, “Mother, Jugs, and Speed”, “Nixon”, and many others. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk-of-Fame.
