Kate Winslet (Born 1975 in Reading, England) is an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award winning English actress. Her extensive film career started in 1994 and includes films such as “Heavenly Creatures”, “Jude”, “Sense and Sensibility”, “Hamlet”, “Titanic”, “Holy Smoke”, “Iris”, “The Life of David Gale”, “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, “Little Children”, “Flushed Away” (voice) ,”Revolutionary Road”, and “The Reader”, along with many others. To date, at age 33, she has already been nominated for 6 Academy Awards and won the Best Actress Academy Award this year for her role in “The Reader”. With this autograph, she now becomes my 3rd Best Actress Oscar success, joining Sally Field, and Jane Fonda. She has been nominated also for 6 Golden Globe Awards with one win, also for “The Reader”. Look at the top pic from Titanic; now compare the lusciousness of that to the bleach-blonde, too-skinny Winslet of late. No comparison. She, like Gillian Anderson of The X-Files and “House of Mirth”, should have kept her hourglass figure. Thanks for sharing the pix, though!
