Holly Hunter (Born 1958 in Conyers, GA) is an Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Emmy Award winning American Actress. She has been nominated for 4 Academy Awards, taking home the Best Actress Award in 1994 for “The Piano”. She has been nominated for 7 Golden Globe Awards with one win, and nominated for 5 Emmy Awards with two wins. Her extensive film career includes roles in films such as “Broadcast News’, “Always”, “Crash”, “The Piano”, “The Firm”, “O’ Brother Where art thou?”, “Home for the Holidays”, “Thirteen”, “The Incredibles” (voice), and my personal #1 favorite comedy film of all-time, “Raising Arizona”. Her Television credits include her Emmy Award winning role in the made for HBO film “The Positively true adventures of the alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom” and her role on the hit TNT series “Saving Grace”. She has a star on the Hollywood Walk-of-Fame.
