
Penny Marshall (Born 1943 in The Bronx, NY) is a Golden Globe Award nominated American Actress, Producer, and Director. She is best known to Television viewers for her signature role as Laverne DeFazio on the hit series “Laverne and Shirley”. She has also appeared on the series “The Odd Couple”, “Happy Days”, “Mary Tyler Moore”, “Mork and Mindy”, “The Simpsons”, and many others. She is one of the most successful female directors in Hollywood History and was the first woman to direct a film that grossed over $100 Million at the Box Office. Her films that she has directed include “Big”, “A League of their Own”, “Awakenings”, “Riding in cars with Boys”, “Jumpin Jack Flash”, “The Preacher’s Wife” and “Renaissance Man”. She was formerly married to Actor/Director Rob Reiner and is the sister of Producer/Director Garry Marshall. As a Producer, her credits include “A League of their Own”, “Renaissance Man”, “Cinderella Man”, and “Bewitched”.

I had Penny Marshall sign a $100 dollar bill in front of the new US Cellular when she was directing A League of their Own. Is there a way we could find it. I’m sure she would remember signing it. We talked for 30 mins and I also bought her a hat and tshirt.
