Jennifer Beals (Born 1963 in Chicago, IL) is a Golden Globe Award nominated American Actress. Her breakout role was in the 1983 film “Flashdance” which she has followed up with roles in films such as “The Bride”, “Vampires Kiss”, “Four Rooms”, “Devil in a blue dress”, “The last days of Disco”, “Runaway Jury”, “The Grudge 2″, and many others. On Television, she has appeared on shows such as “Frasier”, “Law and Order”, and had a starring role in the long-running Showtime series “The L Word”. She put her acting career on hold temporarily in the early 80′s while she attended and graduated from Yale University.
