Larry King (Born 1933 in Brooklyn, NY) is an Award Winning American Radio and Television host. In a career that started on radio in 1957, he has gone on to become one of the Premier Broadcast Interviewers of modern times. He has interviewed an estimated 40,000 persons from the fields of sports, entertainment, politics, world affairs, and current news-makers. In his career, his awards include an Emmy Award, Two Peabody Awards, and Ten Cable Ace Awards. He has appeared in a number of film and Television productions, often as himself, including “Ghostbusters”, “30 Rock”, “Bee Movie”, “Shrek the Third”, “Primary Colors”, “Shrek 2″, and many others. He has been married 8 times. In 1996, he was inducted into the radio broadcasters Hall of Fame. He currently hosts the popular “Larry King Live” on CNN each weeknight.
8/6/09 – Today I got a second autographed photo from Mr. King. This one is the same photo but is just signed in silver sharpie with no personalized inscription. I guess his assistant at CNN forgot to mark my name off the list after the first picture they sent me over 2 months ago. Oh well, I will put the second photo in an album and hold on to it.
