
Charlton Heston (Born 1923 in No Man’s Land, IL)
Charlton Heston (1923-2008) was an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award winning American Actor, Director, and Writer, and was one of the most popular film stars in Hollywood from the 1950′s through the 1970′s. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1960 for the film “BEN-HUR”. In his long acting career, which began in 1941, he starred in such films as “Ben-Hur”, “The Ten Commandments”, “The Greatest Show on Earth”, “The Greatest Story ever Told”, “Planet of the Apes”, “Airport 1975″, “Earthquake”, “Will Penny”, “The Omega Man”, “Soylent Green”, “Midway”, “Wayne’s World 2″, “True Lies”, “Any Given Sunday”, and countless others. He also appeared in a number of TV shows such as “Dynasty”, “The Colby’s”, and “The Bold and the Beautiful”. He served as President of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and also previously served as the President of the Screen Actors Guild. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk-of-Fame. His birth name was John Carter. He passed away in 2008 and will long be remembered as one of the true legends in Hollywood History.

He was truly one of the most amazing men, and actor he had integrity, and honor which is rare today and he stayed married to his true love for years i admire him and have the utmost respect, I love him in moses,,, and ben Hur….. regards Cindy Hartzler, I send my heart most love to his family who must miss him so most, also First Lady Mrs Ronald Regan they were truly good friends.
