
Dustin Hoffman (Born 1937 in Los Angeles, CA) is a Academy Award, Emmy Award, and Golden Globe Award winning American Actor. Over his extensive career, he has been nominated for Best Actor Academy Awards 7 times with two wins, in 1980 for “Kramer vs Kramer” and in 1989 for “Rain Man”. He has been nominated for 15 Golden Globe Awards, with 6 wins, and has won an Emmy Award for his work in the 1985 Television movie “Death of a Salesman”. His film career started in 1967 with his role in the classic film “The Graduate”. (Pic above) He went on to star in such classics as “Midnight Cowboy”, “Little Big Man”, “Papillon”, “Lenny”, “All the Presidents Men”, “Marathon Man”, “Kramer vs Kramer”, “Tootsie”, “Rain Man”, “Dick Tracy”, “Hook”, “Outbreak”, “Wag the Dog”, “Meet the Fockers”, “Kung Fu Panda” (Voice), and countless others. When he starred in “The Graduate” he was already 30 years old and was only 6 years younger than his co-star Ann Bancroft who portrayed “Mrs. Robinson”, the older woman trying to seduce his character. The signed photo from “The Graduate” is one that I printed out and mailed to his production company for him to sign. One of the most prolific and highest paid actors in Hollywood today, he was only paid $17,000 for his role in “The Graduate”.
