Hillary Swank (Born 1974 in Bellingham, Washington) is a Academy Award and Golden Globe Award winning Television and Film Actress and Producer. Her career started on Television in 1990 and she has appeared on shows such as “Beverly Hills 90210″, “Evening Shade”, “Growing Pains”, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, and others. Her first prominent film role was in the 1994 film “The Next Karate Kid”. Since that film, she has gone on to a very successful film career which includes roles in “Boys don’t cry”, “Affair of the Necklace”, “Insomnia”, “The Black Dahlia”, “The Gift”, “The Core”, “Million Dollar Baby”, “Freedom Writers”, “The Reaping”, “PS, I Love You”, and many others. She is also starring in the soon to be released Amelia Earhart biopic “Amelia”. She earned an Academy Award for Best Actress in 2000 for her role in “Boys don’t cry” and another Best Actress Oscar in 2005 for her role in “Million Dollar Baby”. Both roles also earned her Golden Globe Awards. She is the 3rd youngest actress in Hollywood history to win two Best Actress Oscars. She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
