Cybill Shepherd (Born 1950 in Memphis, TN) is a Golden Globe Award winning Actress, Singer, Producer, Writer, and former Model. In the late 1960′s she was a highly successful model and was named “Model of the Year” in 1968. Her film debut was in the 1971 classic “The Last Picture Show” and was followed by roles in films such as “The Heartbreak Kid”, “Daisy Miller”, “Taxi Driver”, “Chances Are”, “Texasville”, and many others. She continues to enjoy a very successfull career in Television and over her career has starred in the series “The Yellow Rose”, “Moonlighting”, “Cybill”, and “The L Word”. She has also made guest appearances on shows such as “Samantha Who?”, “Fantasy Island”, “Just Shoot Me!”, “Psych”, “Criminal Minds”, and “8 Simple Rules”. She also had the starring role in the made for TV Drama “Martha Inc: The Story of Martha Stewart”. She has been nominated for 4 Emmy Awards and 6 Golden Globe Awards. She has won 3 Golden Globe Awards, two for her role on “Moonlighting” and one for her role on “Cybill”.
