Debbie Reynolds (Born 1932 in El Paso, TX) is a Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, and Emmy Award nominated American Actress, Author, Producer, Dancer, and Singer. Her film career began in 1950 and has included roles in “Singin in the Rain”, “The Unsinkable Molly Brown” (Academy Award nomination), “The Affairs of Dobie Gillis”, “Tammy and the Bachelor”, “How the West was Won”, “Divorce American Style”, “Charlotte’s Web”, “The Bodyguard”, “Mother”, “In and Out”, and many others. Her Television credits include “The Debbie Reynolds Show”, “The Love Boat”, “Hotel”, “The Golden Girls”, “Wings”, “Roseanne”, “Will and Grace”, “Family Guy” and countless others. She appeared with, and danced with, Gene Kelly in the classic film “Singin in the Rain” when she was just 19yrs old. Previously married to actor Eddie Fisher, she is the mother of Actress Carrie Fisher. A successful businesswoman, she once owned her own namesake Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas in which she would frequently appear as the headline entertainer. She has a Star on the Hollywood Walk-of-Fame.

I just watched (again) Singin in the Rain, and it brought back so many memories. You were and are absolutely adorable. My husband was a great fan of yours, as was I, and I truly enjoyed this nostalgic evening watching this old movie. I’m from the 30-40′s era, so I know something good when I see it.
