John Michael Higgins (Born 1963 in Boston, MA) is an American Television and Film Character Actor. In a Hollywood career that began in 1986, he has gone on to become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after character actors, usually in comedic roles. His Television credits include shows such as “Miami Vice”, “Cybill”, “Seinfeld” (Elaine’s boyfriend who shaves his head for swimming then freaks out when he discovers he is going bald), “Mad about You”, “Frasier”, “Ally McBeal”, “Monk”, “Boston Legal”, “Arrested Development”, “Kath and Kim”, “Raising the Bar”, “Community” and many others. He also starred in the made-for-TV movie “The Late Shift” in which he portrayed late-night talk show host David Letterman.
