Halle Berry (Born 1966 in Cleveland, OH) is a Academy Award, Emmy Award, and Golden Globe Award winning American Actress and Producer. In a Hollywood career that began in 1989, she has quickly established herself as one of the most successful Actresses in recent film history. Her films to date include “The Last Boy Scout”, “The Flintstones”, “Jungle Fever”, “The Program”, “Losing Isaiah”, “Executive Decision”, “The Rich Man’s Wife”, “Bulworth”, “X-Men”, “Die Another Day”, “Monsters Ball”, “X-Men: The Last Stand”, “Gothika”, “Robots”, “Perfect Stranger”, “X2″, “Catwoman”, “Swordfish”, and many others. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 2002 for her role in “Monster’s Ball”. She is the first African-American Woman to ever win the Best Actress Oscar. She has also done extensive work in Television including her Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning portrayal of Dorothy Dandridge in the made for cable movie “Introducing Dorothy Dandridge”. She has also made appearances on shows such as “Frasier”, “Living Dolls”, “Knots Landing”, and “Amen”. As a Producer, she produced the made for cable films “Lackawanna Blues” and “Introducing Dorothy Dandridge”. A former beauty queen, she was crowned Miss Ohio in 1986 and finished as first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant. She has a Star on the Hollywood Walk-of-Fame.
