Dana Delany (Born 1956 in New York, NY) is a Emmy Award winning and Golden Globe Award nominated American Television and Film Actress. Her Television career has been highlighted by her Emmy Award winning role on “China Beach” and her current role on the hit series “Desperate Housewives”. Other Television credits include “Magnum PI”, “Pasadena”, “Moonlighting”, “Thirtysomething”, “Cheers”, “Family Law”, “Kojak”, “Superman: The Animated Series”, and many others. Her film roles include “Exit to Eden”, “Fly Away Home”, “Tombstone”, “Housesitter”, “Moon over Parador”, “Patty Hearst”, “Light Sleeper”, “A Beautiful Life”, and many others. To date she has been nominated for 5 Emmy Awards and 2 Golden Globe Awards. Turned down the role of Carrie Bradshaw on “Sex and the City”.
