Neil Patrick Harris (Born 1973 in Albuquerque, NM) is a Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award nominated American Television, Stage, and Film Actor. He launched to stardom at the age of 16 while starring in the hit Television series “Doogie Howser MD” from 1989-1993. Other TV credits include “Roseanne”, “Touched by an Angel”, “Stark raving Mad”, “Will and Grace”,”Ed”, “Numb3rs”, “Family Guy”, and many others. He currently stars on the hit CBS Sitcom “How I met your Mother” as woman chasing bachelor Barney Stinson. Film credits include “Clara’s Heart”, “Starship Troopers”, “Harold and Kumar go to White Castle”, “Harold and Kumar escape from Guantanamo Bay”, “Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs” (Voice) and others. To date, he has been nominated for 3 Emmy Awards and 2 Golden Globe Awards for his work on “How I met your Mother”. He has also received Golden Globe nominations for his work on “Doogie Howser MD” and “Clara’s Heart”. He hosted the 2009 Emmy Awards broadcast to rave reviews.
