Hi there! Would you be able to help us with the addresses? We are a non-profit children’s advocacy center hosting a silent auction and this would be a great help to our cause.
Most of the addresses were gotten off of two autograph collecting websites that are free to join. They are fanmail.biz and movieeye.com Both sites allow users to publish addresses that were both successful/unsuccessful for writing to particular celebrities. Many of the autographs I have gotten were via email off of the celeb’s or politicians own websites. The websites that have an email or contact link can be a great way of contacting the celeb directly. The two websites I listed are real good about posting recent successes and the addresses that were used so alot of the mailing I do is to those celebs that seem to be signing at the moment. After you have an address that seems to be the same on both websites that is getting successful returns, just send a letter and a self-addressed return envelope and then sit back and wait. Some have responded in just a few weeks, others have taken 3 months, and many others I have not heard anything back on……as of yet. Once you read the sites, you will find that sometimes it might take 6 mo – 1 Year to get an autograph from some celebrities and about 40% of the time, you will never hear anything back. If you are trying to get something signed for charity, I would put that prominently in the letter so that the assistant who opens the mail can maybe move your letter to the top of the pile….so to speak. Good luck! Let me know if you have any other questions.
al many years i would like to have autographs of
Dick van Dyke en Andrews.
I collect all kind of Disney things and the makers of
Donald duck, the weekly magazine in dutch are
present each year to make a drawning and sign
it; one even worked at movies (Eurodisney)
The combination real people and drawnings started
in M.Poppins Unique ..
Dick van Dyke is known for me also by his second
splendid movie Chittychittybangbang! And after very long time i saw him as a detective.Recently i discovered interviews at youtube. Making of M.Poppins gives also many information about their work:Van Dyke,Andrew en Disney.
In Holland its rather impossible to get autographs of these three stars.

Hello,
I am a major autograph collector. Over the years, I have built an impressive collection of about 450 autographs from popular historical figures including:
Presidents
First Ladies
Statesmen
World Leaders
Religious
Inventors
Scientists
Aviators
Astronauts
Explorers
Military
Musicians
Artists
Writers
Entertainers
Comedians
Athletes
And many more…
The time has come for me to sell my collection. I am looking for one individual, or company, that will recognize the value of my collection and buy the entire group. I know it will be expensive, but it is well worth it, either as an investment, or as a for-profit business. Many people have ask that I sell off individual signatures or smaller portions of the collection, but I’d like to sell it in it’s entirety. If you are interested in knowing more about my collection, please let me know. Thank you.

Hi, I am an author who has written the book “Cracking the Male Code” that is coming out February 2010. I have handwriting samples in my book because I created a new technique for finding personality type through handwriting. I have been unable to find people with the copyright (ownership) of certain handwriting samples and I’m up against a Friday deadline. Is there any chance you would give me permission to use some of your handwriting samples in my book. I would give you an acknowledgement in my book with your blog address. I really need Trump! My email is: Bonniesainsbury@comcast.net
Thank you!

Bonnie, Sorry but I don’t think I will be able to help. A number of the celebrities that I got signatures from enclosed notices that their images were not to be used for any commercial purposes without written permission. I had to create this blog on WordPress because they do not allow advertising on the blogs so there is no way my site would be considered commercial in that I do not profit in any way from it. I know that if you GOOGLE a celebrity autograph lot’s of examples of that persons signature pop up but I don’t know the legal issues with using those signatures in a book. Good luck, sorry I could not be of help. Have a great day!

I have Paul Newman’s autograph. What do you think it’s value?
By: mary on January 31, 2010 at 4:08 pm
I really have no idea but I would bet that it’s pretty valuable. I wish I had been able to write to him before he passed away. If I were you, I would hold on to it. That’s a great piece of Hollywood history that you have! Have a great day!
